Role Overview

You will build the layer customers see and touch. Working from Figma files and product requirements, you will produce semantic markup, maintainable CSS and clean JavaScript — interfaces that load quickly, work on a mid-range Android phone, and hold up on a 27-inch monitor. You will care about the details: focus states, loading behaviour, empty states, and the difference between 14px and 15px.

Key Responsibilities

Convert Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser interfaces
Write semantic HTML5 and maintainable CSS/SASS on a design-token system
Build interactive components with vanilla JavaScript and Bootstrap 5
Optimise page performance — image sizing, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals
Meet accessibility basics: keyboard navigation, contrast, labels, focus states
Integrate with REST APIs and templating layers (PHP / React)
Maintain and improve existing product and marketing front-ends

Requirements

2+ years building production websites or web applications
Expert HTML5 and CSS3 — flexbox, grid, media queries, custom properties
Solid vanilla JavaScript (ES6+); no framework dependency to get things done
Comfortable with Bootstrap 5 and a preprocessor (SASS/LESS)
Git workflow and browser developer tools
An eye for design detail and spacing

Nice to Have

React or Vue experience
Build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm scripts)
WCAG accessibility knowledge
Basic PHP templating for CMS work
